Please read any of my past writings with an understanding that I now affirm the Westminster Standards and the Three Forms of Unity without reservation. I do not believe anything I wrote previously was particularly out of sync with these creeds and confessions, but there may have been a spot of inconsistency here and there. It is worth noting that my views on the sacraments, church polity, and the role of the law have adjusted to Presbyterian convictions over the past year or so.
By God's grace, I continue to have a charitable mindset toward my Reformed Baptist and other Calvinistic (but non-Presbyterian) brothers and sisters in Christ, and still find much theological affinity with them. As I have long been indebted to great Presbyterian preachers and scholars, ancient and modern, while disagreeing with them on a few matters, I now feel equally indebted to Reformed Baptists for their hugely helpful investments in my spiritual growth and theological development.
All in all, the past year has been an exciting time of discovery and study of the Word, and many theological dots are connecting. I'm very keen to see how the Lord leads as the journey continues.
